Q. How does this work?By connecting the M.i.A app to your online store, you gain access to more than 150+ unique products. You can customize the products you choose within the M.i.A app & export them directly to your website for your customers to buy. When orders are placed for these products, the order information is transmitted to us for printing, production & white-label shipping. We then upload the tracking number directly to your cart and then back to your customer.
Q. How much does print on demand cost?For print on demand products you only get charged for what you sell. No upfront investment, no monthly fees, no inventory and and no money changing hands until you make a sale!

Q. What are your replacement & return policies?We stand behind the quality of our products & guarantee our workmanship 100%. Any defects or errors on our part will result in a replacement at no charge — simply submit a customer service request with a photo of the items in question & one of our representatives will issue an immediate replacement. We typically do not accept returns, refunds or replacements due to user error such as incorrect selection of sizes, designs, colors, etc.
Q. Is there any M.i.A branding on the packaging?No—we're completely white label and all your products will look like they came directly from your brand.
Q. How long does fulfilment take?Print and Fulfilment time depends on the products and delivery location around the world. Check our fulfilment guide for more information.
Q. When do I pay for the products I sell?When your customer buys an item fulfilled by M.i.A on your storefront, two transactions will take place. Your customer will pay you, and we'll invoice you when the order comes through. You'll need to set up a billing method on your M.i.A account
Q. Where do returns go?We are unable to handle the returns process for all of our sellers, so if your items are returned to our production facility, they will be donated. It’s required that you provide a valid return address & a name to list on your shipping labels. If your customers wish to return their items, they will contact you — the store owner. It doesn’t happen often, but if a faulty item slips through our quality control checks & makes it to your customer, simply submit a request & photos within your CustomCat app dashboard. We will send an immediate replacement.

Q. What is the best print on demand site?M.i.A allows you to print your items in many locations around the world. We have a wider product range than most print on demand providers. When you look at Printify vs. Printful vs. M.i.A, you'll see that our range and free artwork services make us the best option around.
Q. How often does M.i.A add new products?We have over 150 products to our catalog, and are adding more all the time. If you’re not able to find something in our expansive print-on-demand catalog, reach out to us with a suggestion or stay tuned and you might find it there soon enough.

What is DPI, resolution and actual print file size?"These are a few basic terms to help you get started: Resolution is the measure of pixels in the display, usually expressed in measurements of width x height. For example, a monitor that is 1920 x 1080 is 1920 pixels across and 1080 pixels down. DPI (dots per inch) is the number of dots in a printed inch. The more dots the higher the quality of the print (more sharpness and detail). The actual size is best described with (you guessed it) actual numbers. Let's say you have a 5”x5” shape at 100dpi, but you need to make it a 10”x10”. If you simply scale it to twice its original size you go from 5”x5” to 10”x10” Since the size has now doubled, your resolution has been cut in half that particular part of your graphic, is now 50dpi. When you're submitting your print files, we ask that they're at least 150dpi and at actual size. The resolution of any file is only as good as the dimensions."

Q. Can I use MiA if I live outside the US?Yes, you can! We ship worldwide and currently have fulfilment centers outside the US in the following locations: United Kingdom, China and Australia and are constantly expanding to get orders to you or your customers as fast as possible.

Q. How do I change my currency on MiA?You can set your storefront to whatever currency you like—it's up to you how you want your customers to pay you.
Q. Do products on my storefront have to be in the same currency as my billing method on MiA?No, you can sell products on your store in whatever currency you like.
Q. How do I receive a statement for items sold through MiAA monthly statement will be sent to your primary email address on the 1st of every month.
Q. How much does MiA cost?Pricing can be found in the MiA catalogue on www.miamerchandise.com or under ""Trade Cost"" in Shopify. Please note this is the cost MiA charge per item. Shipping costs are not included. When adding MiA products through the app in Shopify, the Trade cost will be visible, which then allows you to add your desired margins and calculate profits to be made per item. Q. How does MiA's product pricing work?"MiA's product prices include the product itself and printing, although some prints and techniques cost extra. For example, if you want a custom-printed inside label, that costs extra. Our prices don't include shipping and taxes. We price our products in each fulfilment location - so our products around the world are priced a little differently. With multiple currencies, you might notice that our prices fluctuate slightly, depending on where the order is fulfilled and the currency you're paying. For example, let's say you place an order in EUR and the product is fulfilled in the US. In this scenario, we would charge you EUR, but since the product is fulfilled in the US, we would convert the USD price to EUR. The main thing to keep in mind is that orders that are fulfilled in the same region and currency as the delivery address will have a fixed currency."
Q. What's the setup fee?There is no setup fee. We do not charge a monthly or membership fee - we only charge for the products ordered. All of the products we offer, as well as their costs, can be found on the website or on the App under Trade Cost.

How do I report a problem with my order?You can report problems with an order through the app under the ""Need Help"" tab, or email email@example.com Please include the following: Order number Write up your problem in detail and upload relevant photos where possible *Be aware that MiA may require a photo to be submitted with your problem report to begin a reshipment. It is always best to include photos with your initial problem report to avoid delays.*
Q. How can I check the status of an order?In the MiA App, under the "View My Orders" tab.
Q. Can I change an order that is already submitted?Yes, you can change an order that has already been submitted, unless it has the status of being fulfilled. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to change an order that has already been submitted. Note that changing a product within an order (e.g. altering a product's variant, size, design file, or mockup) that has the ""Waiting for Fulfillment"" status, or setting its status to ""On Hold"" will reset the order deadline. This may result in a longer fulfilment time. However, changing a shipping address or rate will not reset the order deadline.

Q. How are mugs made?Mug artwork is inkjet printed, using special dye-sublimation inks and transfer paper. After printing, the transfer paper is wrapped around the mug. The image on the transfer paper is mirrored. Heat and pressure is applied to transfer the image. Printed dye is then mixed with the coating, and the image becomes part of the mug.
Q. Why does my shirt have a vinegar smell?"When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don't worry, that's not unusual - it's from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it's not permanent. A fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment. The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash. "
Q. Are your products eco-friendly?Print-on-demand is a more sustainable approach to production, as we produce the product only when a customer has already made an order. There’s no leftover stock and this way we’re producing less waste than traditional manufacturing. We also offer an eco-friendly collection of products so you can create designs on sustainable products. We use printing equipment that's energy-efficient and saves water in the process. We're working on reducing the use of plastic in the packaging process.
Q. What if I don't see the product I want listed on your site?We offer products based on general demand, product testing, and other factors. If we aren't currently offering the product you want to print on, feel free to leave us a suggestion on our contact us page. The more demand we see for a product, the more likely we will consider launching it.
Q. What happens when a product is ordered, but the supplier's out of stock?If an order has any items that are out of stock at our suppliers, we'll notify you immediately and ask you to choose one of the following options: Switch to an alternative product. Wait for products to come back in stock at our suppliers. We can't predict how long that will take. Cancel the order and issue a refund.
Q. Where can i find the care instructions for products that I sell?You've spent a lot of time and effort to create the perfect design for your products—it's important that you and your customers know how to take care of them in the best way possible!
Printed apparel (direct-to-garment) We use the latest direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technology to offer a wide variety of printable garments and design color options. We use high-quality inks that won't fade for a long time if taken care of properly.
Keep in mind that the original manufacturer's care instructions don't take into consideration the DTG printing process. So we suggest following the care instructions on this page to learn how to take care of your printed garments properly.
Printed apparel can be machine-washed cold, inside-out on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach only when necessary. You shouldn't use any fabric softeners or dry-clean the items.
DTG-printed apparel can be tumble-dried on a low cycle, but hang-dry works best. When it comes to ironing, use cool iron inside-out. Don't iron the print.
Follow these instructions carefully to avoid fading and cracking of the print. Shrinking the garment can also occur if you wash or dry it on a high setting.
If the garment needs ironing, do it inside-out, preferably between two pieces of cloth. You shouldn't wet embroidery before ironing or use a steam iron.
Bags All-over print backpacks, fanny packs, and duffle bags need to be hand-washed without bleach. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the bags. You can iron these bags with a low heat setting.
All-over print totes and drawstring bags can be machine-washed without bleach on a cold cycle. They can't be tumble-dried or dry-cleaned. You can iron these bags with a low heat setting.
Pillows and pillowcases Pillowcases can be machine-washed without bleach on a cold cycle. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the pillow cases. You can iron them with a low heat setting.
The pillow inserts shouldn’t be washed, bleached, tumble-dried, ironed, or dry-cleaned.
Bean Bag Covers The cover of the bean bag can be machine-washed on a cold cycle without bleach. Don’t dry-clean or tumble-dry the cover. You can iron it with a low heat setting.
Sublimation socks, blankets, towels, and laptop sleeves Sublimation socks, blankets, towels, and laptop sleeves can be machine-washed cold with like colors at no more than 86ºF (30ºC). Don't use bleach and don't dry-clean. It's best to hang-dry, but tumble-drying can be used on a low cycle if necessary.
Mugs Our white glossy mugs and white ceramic mugs with color inside are microwave and dishwasher safe, but the print and coating will last longer if you hand-wash them.
Matte black and glossy black magic mugs, however, should only be hand-washed, and you can't put them in a microwave. Note that they're also prone to scratches, so be extra careful.
The same goes for our enamel mugs that should only be hand-washed. Also, you can't heat liquids or food directly in the enamel mugs—it can damage their coating.
Posters and Canvas' To ensure that your posters and canvas' last for a long time, don’t keep them in direct sunlight or outdoors. They can be gently dusted with a soft dry cloth or a feather duster.
Don’t clean your phone case with any alcohol-based products as they can remove the ink and discolor the case.
